3D Castle/House with Chinese Influences Game Model
This is a some kind of castle/house with chinese architect influences. Low-poly, 927 triangles. Diffuse texture only.
This was a test task for me when i searched for a job in game development industry. Based on concept drawing, I have to model and texture some sort of "castle-classical house-chinese pagoda". So, this is what I have made.
Due to technical task and target platform ( casual strategy-RPG PC-game with camera view from top ) polygons quantity must be as low as possible. For decorations ( fence spikes and roof details ) and trees was used alpha-channel in diffuse texture and planes as geometry base. Nothing special in rendering, just mental ray and basic directional lights with shadows. My personal favorite place — central ladder.
Yeah, I know, fountain looks ugly.
