For happy and proud owners of Wacom graphics tablets Intuos4 series it's not a secret that this tablets have "special ability" to flatten out pen nibs ridiculously quick - some people says that ten hours of intense work can "eat" one nib. This is pretty frustrating, because nibs not only pretty expensive ( $20 for five ), but sometimes it's may be difficult to get a replace in some countries. In this material I'd like to review one tricky way to reduce nib flattening and at the same time make Intuos pen work more comfortable for some users.
It's strange, but to my shame previously I haven't heard of Spiral Graphics Genetica existence at all, or just didn't noticed it - quite unfairly, let me say. If keep in mind that Genetica exists from 2003 - that's a 8 years now - this is something I now regret, because Genetica is truly amazing software. Why someone didn't told me that earlier?.. xD
Autodesk Maya 2012 is a great piece of 3D modeling software, still it's not free of bugs and annoying errors that could poison lives of fellow 3D artists. For example, one of the common errors in Maya 2012 is a disappeared RenderView menu buttons, also known as "empty renderview window", "blank renderview" or "renderview not found" syndrome.
